Registration Fees
Returning Dancers:
There is an annual $25 registration fee per dancer due at the time of registration. Paying this registration fee and your first months tuition will secure your dancer's spot. Registration fees will be added at the end of your online registration, before you checkout. This fee is non-refundable.

New Dancers:
There is an annual $35 registration fee per dancer due at the time of registration. Paying this registration fee and your first months tuition will secure your dancer's spot. Registration fees will be added at the end of your online registration, before you checkout. This fee is non-refundable.
Payment Options & Discounts
Full Season Payment*:

Save 10% when you pay for the full dance season. The registration fee will be added at the end of your online registration, before you checkout. This payment is non-refundable.

Half Season Payment:
​
Pay for the dance season in two (2) installments. The first half (1/2) of the payment is due at the end of your online registration. The remaining payment is due on February 1st, 2024. Late payments will assess a $20 fee by the 5th of each month. This payment is non-refundable.

Monthly Tuition payment:
​
Tuition is due on the 1st of each month, Tuition remains the same for each month. Additional classes added after registration, will be charged the class rate only. Late payments will assess a $20 late fee by the 5th of each month. For our families convenience, tuition can be paid through our auto debit program. This payment is non-refundable.

Family Discount*:
​
Families with siblings enrolled in our program will receive 10% off of tuition for the second sibling and additional siblings registered for classes.

Referral Discount*:
​
If you refer a family that fully registers for class(es), you will receive 15% off of the next months tuition.

Shay Fierce Policies
Attendance & Attire
Dancers are expected to attend every class for class progression and choreography. Absences and tardiness hold dancers back from the full experience. If you are tardy, please enter the classroom quietly and warm-up on the side until the combination is over.
Every dancer must be in class 5-10 minutes prior to the start time. Please come to class prepared with the correct uniform, shoes, and water. Hair must be off of the dancer's face and neck, pulled back in a ponytail or bun for ballet, jazz, tap, and modern. NO JEWELRY WHILE DANCING.
If your child is injured, we still encourage them to observe class until they are able to participate again.
Class Placement
All level class placements will be determined by Director and instructors. If a dancer needs to move up or down based on the class objectives and progression, we will meet with the parents to discuss. Students have the potential to be moved during the dance season, which may result in a change in class day and time. We want every dancer to excel in class and have a fulfilling experience! It is in the dancer's best interest to be placed in the appropriate class level. The Director welcomes all questions and concerns.
COVID/ Sickness Policy
Any dancer experiencing illness or Covid symptoms, must be kept home to reduce any chance of spreading. Please contact the studio at (240) 853-4805 to notify about dancer's absence.
Inclement Weather
Shay Fierce Dance Academy follows Prince George's County school inclement weather closings. Additionally, if classes need to be cancelled due to unsafe conditions, an email will be sent prior to hours of operation. There are no make-up classes when classes are cancelled due to unsafe conditions.
