How the Audition Process works!

1. RSVP For Interest Meeting

RSVP and attend our interest meeting

2. Save Your Spot

Register and pay audition fee online before Friday, May 29.

$25 Audition Fee

3. Audition Day

Arrive at the studio 15-30 minutes before start time. Parents should return for pick up 10 minutes before end time.

4. Audition Results

Dancers will receive their audition results via email by June 6th. To accept your spot on the team, you must follow the instructions on the email.

To be considered for Lyrical or Contemporary, you must take the following classes during the season:

Ballet
Modern
Competition Class

To be considered for Jazz, you must take the following classes during the season:

Jazz
Ballet
Competition Class

To be considered for Hip Hop, you must take the following classes during the season:

Ballet
Hip Hop
Competition Class

Season Commitment

On average, our Competition Team performs in 3 Regional competitions and 1 National Competition. Regional competitions are located in the DMV area, and National Competitions may be located in surrounding states.

Dancers are expected to attend at least one dance convention of the recommended conventions during the season.

Dancers are expected to attend all Competition Team rehearsals held outside of regular classes, and must follow the class and rehearsal attendance guidelines per the Competition Team Handbook.

Financial Information

Competition Team fees are determined by the number of routines a dancer competes in and the competition company prices. Here are some examples of Competition Team Fees paid throughout the season:
